EXCELLENT++ - NEAR MINT CONDITION Beautiful all original 1983 Stratocaster "ELITE." This was the guitar the was the predecesor to the Eric Clapton and Jeff Beck artist series. The very first stratocaster with noiseless pickups and active electronics. If you are looking at this, I don't need to tell you about all the features that made this the most expensive Stratocaster, and best sounding. which after only 18 months was dropped from CBS Fender's line due to cost. There weren't very many of these made and now 25 years old, collectors are on the hunt for these. Beautiful finish in black. Everything works as it did the day it was produced. Nine-volt battery cover has a crack in it (as was common with these), otherwise near mint. Sure to please!
